The Cabin

FairCraft is the overall mission dedicated to develop a fully circular aircraft cabin. The project FairCabin is focussing on the Floor-to-Floor components.

FairCraft is dedicated to developing a fully circular aircraft cabin. As part of this mission, FairCabin focuses on floor-to-floor cabin components and explores how aircraft interiors can be designed, produced, used, and reused across their entire lifecycle. By combining research, design, and engineering, the project develops new approaches to materials, systems, and processes for more sustainable aviation. As an ongoing research initiative, FairCraft continues to evolve with every new insight and development.

Resource Strategy

More than lightweight: FairCraft rethinks aircraft interiors with sustainability and circularity at the core.

Circular design starts at the drawing board: materials, joints and systems are developed so they can be separated, repaired, reused and recycled. This turns resource efficiency into a design principle from the very beginning.

With more than three years of hands-on experience in the project, expertise in industrial and circular design and a strong background in process-oriented development for the aviation industry, they bring together the knowledge needed to advance the concept with continuity, technical depth and practical implementation in mind.
